About the event
To start the year STRONG, we are thrilled to invite you to our annual Partnering with Parents Conference, scheduled for August 5th and 6th. This event is designed to strengthen our partnership and enhance your involvement in your child's education journey at LCA.
The conference will feature:
- Class Meetings: Engage directly with your child's teachers and understand their academic plans.
- Three Required Sessions: Focus on classical education, the LCA community, and the curricula your child will be using. (Please note: The cost of the conference is included in your enrollment fee. If you are unable to attend these required sessions, we will arrange a time to give you the missed information for an additional fee.)
- Beneficial Workshops: Explore a variety of topics aimed at enhancing your parenting and support skills.
- Keynote Speaker: Gain insights from our distinguished keynote speaker, Dr. Grant Horner from Master’s University.
- Dinner: Parents and Rhetoric students enjoy a relaxed social gathering to connect with other parents and staff. Logic students and younger will enjoy pizza at LCA.
- Uniform Swap Table: Bring your gently used uniforms (no tears/stains) you would like to trade in on Monday, then browse the Uniform Swap Table on Tuesday and potentially take home some clothes for your kids.
- Back-to-School Camp: There will be a day camp for Grammar and Logic students on Monday afternoon and all day on. (please be on the lookout for a separate email about day camp specifics!)
