Time: 6:00โ8:00 PM (Doors open at 5:30 PM for dinner and childcare check-in)
Location: Liberty Classical Academy, 5175 CR 335, New Castle
Cost: $125 per person or $200 per couple(Includes dinner for adults and children, childcare, and a workbook.)
About the Instructors
Pete and Patty Schaffner have been serving youth and families in our community since 1982.
Pete served as the Director of Northwestern Colorado Youth for Christ for 40 years.
Patty worked nearly 29 years with YouthZoneโs Pals Mentoring program.Together, they continue to volunteer with Youth for Christ and have spent decades teaching parenting classes and coaching parents. They are proud parents of two grown children, grandparents to twin boys, and will soon celebrate their 46th wedding anniversary.
๐ฟ Class Description
Practical Parenting is a 4-week course designed for parents of children ages 3โ12, providing biblically based, practical tools to help build confidence, nurture loving relationships, and create peaceful homes.
The Schaffners will draw from the best of several respected parenting curriculums, including Love & Logicยฎ and Parenting on Purpose, weaving in Biblical principles and real-life applications. Parents will be encouraged to practice techniques between sessions and share successes and challenges each week.
