Why Sukkot?

As part of our Old Testament studies, LCA is celebrating the biblical feast of Sukkot, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles or Feast of Booths. It’s a time of joy, community, and remembrance—celebrating God’s provision and presence.

This year’s festival will be full of learning, fun, and fellowship for the whole family!

Festival Preparations

• The Logic and Rhetoric Houses (Lewis, Nightingale, Ten Boom, Bonhoeffer, Elliot, Graham) will each construct a sukkah by the evening of Friday, October 3rd. Details will be shared with students through their Houses.

• Grammar classes will create decorations for the sukkahs during the school day.

• Traditionally, families sleep in the tabernacles all week. You are welcome as a family to sleep overnight in a tent or one of the sukkah in the park!
